Refund Policy
This policy exists to achieve service excellence for our facility renters. This policy explains how we handle refunds, with respect to facility rentals. A signed contract is reviewed with each renter at the time of booking. The BPCC refund policy is stated clearly in this contract.
This policy affords all facility renters who choose Bronx Park Community Centre the option of changing their mind about their rental. Life happens, circumstances change, and we want to be responsive in order to achieve a safe and pleasant facility and atmosphere for our patrons, employees and visitors. The facility has instituted the following practices to ensure the satisfaction of all renters.
Policy Application & Calculation
- A cancellation fee of 25% of the contract amount will be charged if the cancellation is confirmed 30 days or more prior to the event.
- A cancellation fee of 50% of the contract amount will be charged if the cancellation is confirmed less than 30 days prior to the event.
- No refunds will be granted for cancellations within seven days of the event.
Enforcement
It is the responsibility of the Facility Manager to determine the amount of the refund and advise the renter. The refund will be issued by cheque or credit card refund (as determined by the Facility Manager) within 30 days of the request. If there is a discrepancy the matter will be referred to the Board of Bronx Park for determination.
